Who can become a reporter?
Anyone 18+ with a smartphone who lives in the area they report on. You complete KYC, a short training and a quiz (80% to pass) inside the app.
How much can I earn?
You are paid per published story according to your tier (see the rate card), plus a breaking bonus when you are first with a verified report and a 15% share of ad revenue on your stories.
How do I get paid?
Withdraw from ₹100 instantly to UPI. Balances above ₹500 settle automatically every week. TDS applies once yearly earnings cross the legal threshold.
How do I move up a tier?
Tiers are promoted automatically based on your 90-day volume, an acceptance rate of 85% or more, and a trust score of 70 or more.
What gets rejected?
Unverified claims, copied content, hate speech, defamation, and anything that breaks our code of ethics. Fake reports lead to strikes and a permanent ban.
Do I need a press card?
No. Newsdash issues a digital reporter ID in the app once you are approved.
